Local Concreting

Concreting Done Right Across Liverpool

We pour and finish concrete driveways, slabs, patios, pool surrounds, garage slabs, steps and ramps for homeowners, builders and small commercial clients across the Liverpool area. Most jobs start the same way, an old cracked driveway that's finally due for replacement, a bare patch of yard waiting on a patio, or a new garage slab needed before the next stage of a build.

We handle the site prep, formwork, reinforcement, pour and finish as one job, not a string of separate trades to coordinate yourself. Every quote is itemised before we start, so you know exactly what you're paying for and there are no extras added once the truck arrives. If you've got a concreting job coming up anywhere in the Liverpool area, get in touch and we'll talk you through it.

Why Us

Why Liverpool Homeowners Choose Us

We quote it properly the first time

Every quote covers site prep, formwork, reinforcement and finish up front, so there's nothing sprung on you halfway through the job.

We build for the ground under Liverpool

Much of the Liverpool area sits on reactive clay, and we reinforce and joint accordingly rather than pouring the same slab we'd pour anywhere else.

We turn up and finish what we start

Jobs are scheduled properly and communicated clearly, so you're not left guessing when the crew will actually show up.

We stand behind the finish, not just the pour

A driveway or patio is judged on how it looks years later, not just on the day it's poured, so the finishing work gets the same attention as the structure underneath it.

Most of Liverpool sits on the Wianamatta Group, and Bringelly Shale, the most reactive clay in that group, is the single biggest cause of cracked driveways and slabs across the area. Many sites here classify as Class M to H1 or H2 under AS2870, which usually means extra reinforcement, deeper edge beams and properly spaced control joints rather than a standard slab.

If your job includes a new driveway crossover connecting to the road, that crossing needs its own permit and bond from Liverpool City Council under the Roads Act, separate from the driveway slab itself, and we can talk you through what that involves.

Questions

Common Questions About Concreting in Liverpool

How much does a concrete driveway or patio cost, and will the price change once you start?

We give a firm, itemised quote before any work begins, covering site prep, formwork, reinforcement and finish. If ground conditions genuinely change what’s needed once we start digging, we’ll tell you before doing the extra work, not after.

Why does concrete crack, and how do you stop it happening on my job?

Most cracking in this area comes down to reactive clay moving under the slab without enough reinforcement or the right control joints. We reinforce to suit the site and space control joints properly, rather than pouring a standard mix and hoping it holds.

How long does the concrete need to cure before I can use it?

Concrete generally needs about a week to cure properly before it takes regular vehicle or foot traffic. In Sydney’s hot summer conditions we wet-cure new concrete to stop it drying out and cracking on the surface before it’s had the chance to strengthen properly.

What’s the difference between plain, broom and exposed aggregate finishes?

Plain and broom finishes are the most cost-effective, with a broom finish adding a bit of grip. Exposed aggregate reveals the stone within the mix for a decorative, textured surface and is popular on driveways and patios where the look matters as much as the function.

Do you handle drainage properly around pools and patios?

Yes. Pool surrounds and patios both need the right fall and drainage built in from the start, along with expansion joints, so water moves away from the structure instead of pooling against it.

Do you service my suburb?

We cover the Liverpool area including Green Valley, Prairiewood, Smithfield, Fairfield, Moorebank, Cabramatta, Fairfield Heights, Warwick Farm, Wetherill Park, Chipping Norton, Wattle Grove, Cabramatta West, Canley Vale, Casula and Miller. Get in touch and we’ll confirm we cover your street.
